Sport Psychology & Mental Coaching

What does it mean?

Sport psychology explores how psychological factors impact participation and performance in sports, exercise, and physical activity, as well as how sport shapes an individual's development and well-being.

Mental coaching is an approach whereby a coach accompanies clients to strengthen mental skills and navigate challenges in their professional, athletic, or personal lives. It is a creative, reflective partnership designed to support growth and unlock personal and professional potential.

Through structured coaching conversations and practical exercises, we can work on themes like:

  • Managing emotions (e.g pre-competitive stress, fears)

  • Developing positive self-talk and imagery scripts

  • Building routines and focus strategies

  • Aligning athletic identity with personal values.

  • (Re)building confidence and/or self-esteem

  • Goal-setting and planning

  • Motivation

  • Life-sport balance

  • Dealing with injuries

  • Navigating transitions (new sport, new level, retirement)

How can we work together?

1-to-1 Sessions

Tailored sessions to address your personal goals and challenges.

    • A confidential, supportive space to explore, slow down and reflect on whatever feels relevant for you right now — mentally, physically, and emotionally.

    • No judgement, no fixed agenda. I work alongside you as a mirror, helping you gain perspective and understand your patterns.

    • Combination of conversations, space for reflection and practical activities, adapted to you and your needs

    • Sessions evolve over time, as your needs and context change

    • Between sessions, I may suggest reflections rather than rigid exercises

    • Managing pressure, expectations, and nerves

    • Understanding and regulating emotions (e.g., fear, frustration)

    • Focus, routines, imagery, self-talk

    • Confidence, self-esteem, and identity in sport

    • Motivation, planning, and goal-setting

    • Life–sport balance, injuries, and transitions

    • Communication, autonomy, and responsibility

    • For people who exercise regularly, from recreational to elite athletes

    • Athletes feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or under pressure

    • People who value both performance and wellbeing

    • Health-oriented non-athletes seeking better balance

    • Greater self-awareness and perspective

    • Clarity in difficult moments

    • Better emotional regulation

    • A more sustainable relationship with performance
